Understand first.
Then treat it properly.

Your physical symptom is never your whole story. What you want to be able to do, your daily load and previous treatments together form the starting point.

A careful initial assessment

We'll discuss your symptoms, your health, any medications, and previous investigations. After that, research of the area and of the movements that hinder you. If additional research or a referral is needed, we will discuss it first.

ultrasound at no extra cost with your intake

The intake has been paid for. When ultrasound makes sense for your symptom, the ultrasound during that intake is included at no extra cost. You will receive advance clarity about the intake rate. Any follow-up treatment will be discussed separately.

A plan for a clear reason

You will be given an explanation of the possibilities, the uncertainty of the result and the costs. Sometimes focused or radial shockwave fits the plan, supplemented where appropriate with EMTT. Sometimes it makes more sense to practice, adjust the load or follow-up.

Moving is part of the plan

A treatment is not separate from your daily life. We're discussing how to build up load and exercises. The approach depends on the established symptom and on what you have already tried.

Determining together whether it helps

We agree in advance what we follow: for example, pain with a specific activity and what you can do again. At the moment of evaluation we discuss the change and together determine whether we continue, modify or stop.

This information is general. Whether shockwave is appropriate for you requires a personal assessment. There's no guarantee of recovery.
