Targeted treatment.
Appropriate additions.
Focused and radial shockwave offer opportunities for various musculoskeletal symptoms. Discover the applications, the differences and what additional EMTT can mean for specific symptoms.
More than symptoms from the tendons
Discover the applications in back, meniscus, ligament, muscle and symptoms of tendons and in specialised bone care. With an explanation of the results and role of focused shockwave.
Focused shockwave
Focused shockwave bundles acoustic energy into a chosen area. In addition to muscle and symptoms of the tendons, the technique is investigated for back, meniscus and ligaments symptoms. Also within specialized bone care has focused shockwave applications. We translate those possibilities into a treatment choice that fits your diagnosis.
Radial shockwave
Radial pressure waves are spreading from the point of contact and decreasing with depth. In practice, we call this radial shockwave. The technique has other physical properties than focused shockwave. This treatment can also be discussed with selected nerve symptoms, such as mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome.
Additional EMTT
Magnetic pulses as a possible addition to focused shockwave for specific symptoms. Read the justification and consideration.
Focused and radial techniques are not automatically combined. Additional EMTT also requires a substantive reason. Your clinician explains the trade-off and discusses alternatives.
